DISCIPLINE

Discipline gets priority in this college. Indiscipline in a class hampers the instructional work and always tells upon the efficiency of a teacher. Maintenance of discipline is not the job of any one particular person it is a joint effort. Every member of the staff is expected to contribute towards the maintenance of discipline in the college by keeping a watchful eye on the student's activities through out his presence in the college. Students are not allowed to loiter in verandahs aimlessly. They are asked to move in line while going from one class to another. Even at pack-up time or when they leave the classes for short break, they are not allowed to rush out wildly but move out in an orderly manner. Misconduct or misbehavior by a student towards any one in the college is dealt with seriously. Keeping long hair and firearms are not allowed. Smoking in the College premises is strictly forbidden.

Following offenses can render a student liable to disciplinary action as seemed appropriate by the Discipline Committee:-

a-: Indiscipline, cheating, stealing or immoral conduct.

b-: Breaking Institution's bounds.

c-: Rudeness with staff.

d-: Keeping fire-arms and other lethal weapons.

e-: Willfully damaging Institution's property.

f-: Being habitually untidy and neglecting Institution's orders.

g-: Showing consistently poor performance in academics.

h-: Leaving Institution's premises without proper permission.

i-: Smoking and using narcotics.

j-: Any other offense considered to be serious enough the Institution's "Discipline Committee".
